Medical Daycare unit
The Medical Daycare unit provides comprehensive outpatient cancer care. Patients seen in this clinic are treated for a range of cancers, including breast, colon, bowel and lung cancer. We also treat disorders of the blood.
We offer many different types of treatment as necessitated by the cancer, including: chemotherapy, iron infusions, transfusions and others. Care is provided by an interprofessional team comprised of oncologists, nurses, social workers, a pharmacist and a dietitian, all of whom have expertise in providing care to cancer patients.
Inpatient Oncology unit
The inpatient oncology unit is located on the same floor as the medical daycare unit. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, doctors, a social worker, a dietitian, a physiotherapist and a chaplain.
